Mr. Bevon Francis has been appointed Chairman to the IGL Ltd. Board of Directors since May 2013. He was first appointed to IGL's Board of Directors on October 2003 and was subsequently appointed Deputy Chairman on October 2007. Mr. Francis has held the position of Senior Executive Manager at several manufacturing companies in Jamaica. He currently serves on the boards of the Caribbean Cement Company Ltd. and Trinidad Cement Ltd.
Executive Director since 2002, Mr. Rahaman is the Vice Chairman of the Rahamut Group of Companies and Chief Executive Officer of Ramco Industries Limited, leader in the LPG industry in Trinidad and Tobago. He is a member of the Board of Directors of several companies and has over 20 years' experience operating in the energy sector. Mr. Rahaman has held an executive position with the Group for ten years, prior to which he was employed at Citibank in the United States and Latin America where he acquired a wealth of International business experience. Mr. Rahaman holds a First Class Honors degree in Civil Engineering from the University of London in the UK and also obtained two postgraduate degrees, one in Business Administration, and the other in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, USA. He is a Director of Bourse Securities Limited, a securities company which is a member of the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange.
Director since 2002, Mr. Rahaman has over 45 years senior management experience and is considered one of Trinidad's most successful businessmen. He is the Chairman of the Rahamut Group of Companies, and President of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Dealers Association of Trinidad and Tobago. For over 15 years he was a non-executive director on the board of Republic Bank and is Trinidad and Tobago's Honorary Consul General for the Republic of Bangladesh. In the area of community service, Mr. Rahaman is the Patron of the friends of the Carnegie Free Library and is actively involved in the South Cancer Support Group.
Director since 2002, Ms. Rahaman is the Managing Director of two companies within the Rahamut Group: Rahamut Service Stations Limited and Rahamut Enterprises Limited. She has been a director of the Group for ten years and joined the executive management team in 2000. Ms. Rahaman holds a First Class Honors degree in Chemistry and Management Studies from University of London and a M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She held the position of Associate Principal with McKinsey & Company, the firm of International Management Consultants, where she worked for years. She has extensive experience working with global Fortune 500 companies and has worked in the USA, Africa and Europe.
Director since 2003, a senior partner of one of Jamaica's foremost law firms, Mr. Levy has more than 40 years expertise in the areas of construction and commercial law, banking, finance and taxation. He also serves on the boards of directors of several leading companies.
Director since 2005, Mrs. Belasco is currently the Financial Director of the Rahamut Group of Companies. She has over twenty years experience in finance and banking. Mrs. Belasco started her accounting career with Price Waterhouse in audit and advisory and has also worked in the energy sector. Prior to joining the Group she worked in the banking sector for three years. She is a certified management accountant and is also a chartered accountant.
Dr. Judith Robinson is a Chartered Accountant and Management Consultant. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration from New York University, a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of the West Indies, and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.
A former partner in the management consulting practice of Price Waterhouse Jamaica, Dr. Robinson began her illustrious career as an assistant senior audit clerk at Touche Ross Heron and Thorburn in Jamaica. She then went on to hold senior management and accounting positions in the J.T.C. (Jamaica Telephone Company Ltd.), National Water Commission, and NCR (Jamaica) Ltd.
Dr. Robinson has also lent her skills to the Not-for-Profit Sector. She served as treasurer and president of the Jamaica Telephone Company (J.T.C.) Cooperative Credit Union Limited and as treasurer of the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League Limited.
